About

About Me

I am a second-year Journalism student at SAIT with strong skills in storytelling, interviewing, photography, and multimedia journalism. My work has been published on the SAIT Press website, and I also earned a byline in the Calgary Herald through a collaborative reporting project between SAIT journalism students and the newspaper.

I enjoy expressing creativity through both journalism and art, and I am particularly drawn to stories that explore culture, history, and the human experience. My background in anthropology has shaped my interest in uncovering deeper meanings and connections within the communities I cover.

As a photographer, I am drawn to candid moments and authentic interactions. I prefer a documentary-style approach that captures people naturally rather than relying on heavily staged images, allowing stories and emotions to unfold organically.
